How to Pass OSHA 10: Study Guide and Practice Test
Passing the OSHA 10 Exam
The OSHA 10 final exam is designed to test your knowledge on basic safety principles, but it can be challenging if you don't pay attention during the course.
Study Tips
- Take Notes: While online courses let you go at your own pace, writing down key statistics (like fall protection height requirements) helps with retention. - Review End-of-Module Quizzes: The final exam questions are often very similar to the quizzes at the end of each module. - Pay Attention to the Focus Four: The "Focus Four" hazards (Falls, Caught-in or -between, Struck-by, and Electrocution) make up a significant portion of the test.
What Happens if You Fail?
Most online providers give you three attempts to pass the final exam. If you fail all three attempts, OSHA requires that you be locked out of the course, and you will have to repurchase and retake the entire 10 hours of training.
Where to take it
For this the course is OSHA 10, and 8 of the organizations OSHA authorizes to deliver Outreach training online are authorized for it. Every organization OSHA authorizes to deliver this course online, with the price we read on their own page and the date we read it. We do not sell courses and we do not rank them.
