OSHA card finder
Do I need an OSHA card?
Federal law does not require OSHA 10 or 30-hour outreach training for most workers: the program is voluntary. A binding requirement comes from a state statute, a city ordinance, or an employer. We have read and quoted the statute for 2 jurisdictions so far, and we say so plainly where we have not.

How this tool works
It reports one of two things, and the difference matters. Either we have read that jurisdiction's statute, in which case we quote it and show the date we read it, or we have not, in which case it says so.
It never tells you a state has no requirement. We are not in a position to prove a negative about 49 legislatures, and telling someone they are fine when they are not could cost them a day of work or the job. Requirements also change: NYC changed one on August 1, 2026.
Whatever this tool says, your employer is the one who decides what you need to walk onto their site.
